Been natural most of my life, and never loved getting my texture ironed straight, or altered. Always knew from a little girl, that as soon as I got out of anyone’s chair I was gonna “baptize” whatever they did in the bathtub first chance I got. Taking nothing from beauticians among us who love their art, but there’s just nothing that feels more beautiful to me than my original reflection. Unmoored. Untamed. Primal.
