Rachel Hurd-Wood Instagram – Had a wonderful few days in London recording an audiobook. It’s been a while since I’ve worked anywhere but from home, and while that has its advantages, actually going to a nice building and being around professionals was such a treat! Even the sweaty morning tube commute felt like a luxury (especially after two nights of caring for a toddler with a stomach bug 😅) There’s such pressure (externally and internally) for mothers to live up to some ‘perfect’ ideal – whether that pertains to career, looks, parenting, anything. If you’ve been following me a while, you’ll know I’m keen to steer clear of perfectionism, and focus on doing what’s best for me and my family, whatever that looks like. While I’ve loved having so much time at home with my little ones (mostly), I’m starting to feel ready for the next chapter, the one beyond 24/7 motherhood. 🎧
Rachel Hurd-Wood Instagram – More from Norfolk… we stayed at the fantastic @thehostearms in Burnham Market. It more than made up for a less than perfect birthday last week 😅 The food was so good – they do a wonderful vegan cheesecake – and it was such a treat to lie in bed watching tv once the kids were asleep 🌟
