When you know, you know. On K2, my gut told me “don’t go”, and that decision saved my life. In Antarctica (on the Impossible First crossing), when I was almost two months into the journey and 77 miles from the finish, my gut was telling me “Go, don’t stop”. I had been pulling my sled for 12 hours a day and setting up my tent each night, but in that moment I felt so dialed in and connected that I knew I could push on straight to the finish without stopping. 32 hours and 77 miles later, I reached the end. When I made the decision to press on, I was at my weakest point of the journey, physically. But my mind was at its strongest.
Limitations change. Listen to your gut. It knows what’s possible. #BePossible #PossibleMindset™ #ImpossibleFirst #12hourwalk #impossibleisnothing

Colin O’Brady Instagram – Kids don’t have stories of limitation rattling around in their minds. Their lens on life is POSSIBILITY!

The older the audience I speak to, the less enthusiasm and response I get when I ask people what their Everest is 🤔

So many of us stop dreaming as we get older.
It’s hard to maintain positivity, I get it! Life is hard. Pursuing anything rewarding takes a lot of work – and often rejection, criticism, resources, etc..

But it’s our BIRTHRIGHT to see the world the way we did as kids and to go after the things that light us up. That’s where the highs of life are found.

Doesn’t it bring you joy just thinking about it?

What’s your Everest in your own life right now?

Get after it!
