“Forty-one years ago we welcomed you safely into the world. An emergency caesar, congenital heart challenge and a caring medical team.
From the day we left the hospital, you dispelled all predictions of a life with ‘restricted activities’. You showed resilience and determination throughout the years, playing club and school based rugby union and league, athletics etc. We were always amazed at what you achieved.
Decades later and we couldn’t be more proud or happy for you. Your career as an actor has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows but you stuck with it. Even when I’d try and coax you home with “Wouldn’t you like to study teaching??” or your father wanting you to “Have you got a fallback job” you remained committed and passionate.
We’re so proud of WHO you are Dan. ‘Dan the Man’ or ‘Fury’ as you’ve been known. It’s the qualities that we see in you… your attributes, that we love so much.❤️
