Ian Nelson Instagram – Thank you to everyone for all the love on the “Disposable Moments” music video. I produced, directed, and edited the video which was shot in North Carolina.
On one level, “Disposable Moments” is a love song, but for me, it was more so about the idea of impermanence. From shooting in a burnt down forest and a hazy attic to featuring WWII and geopolitical footage, every aspect of the video explores impermanence on a personal, global, and environmental level.
Of course “Disposable Moments” is not the first piece of art to say “nothing lasts forever.” But it can always be a reminder of that – a reminder to be grateful for the beauty of the present moment.
