Leonardo DiCaprio Instagram – A marine ecologist out of California made an extraordinary discovery while searching for sea slugs; two tiny translucent white clams. The clams discovered were thought to have been extinct for tens of thousands of years, with fossils collected in the Baldwin Hills area of Los Angeles some 30,000 years ago making the discovery even more astonishing.
