Robert Gant Instagram – I’m sorry to hear the news of Kirstie Alley‘s passing. I have memories of working with her on Veronica‘s Closet. She was warm and welcoming. And maybe a little flirtatious. ;) It was shortly before I started on Queer as Folk, and I wasn’t out yet professionally as an actor. (There are some recollections of the experience I’ll save for another day.) It was also my first time playing a gay character. In this case, her dental hygienist, Bernie. :) More recent politics aside, she was great to work with at the time. As were @kathynajimy, Wally Langham, and Ken Marino. Rest in peace.
