One of, if not my favorite scene to film of Season 2 was this scene. I had been really wanting to work opposite @shanleycaswell and then this great scene popped up where our characters crossed paths.
Love working with @themekaicurtis. He’s so alive during scenes. Always keeping me on my toes from the first take to the last. We had some great adlibs in this scene. ✨✨✨

When I first got sent the script I was going through my process of trying to identify ways to best illuminate what was on the page and the character, Garret Evans himself.
And then, I had this Idea!!!
Buttttt I knew immediately that if I wanted it to be used come filming time I needed people to FEEL the full effect on the table read which was only hours away from starting. (Showing is always better than telling)

I dashed out the house. Hit the Google search and found the closest Army and Navy store. I bought camo face paints & an army fatigue boonie hat and messed around In the mirror until I showed up to the zoom table read ln FULL REGALIA, having NOT told a Soul I was doing so😝😝😝

The Roar of laughter was incredible!! Thankfully our Showrunner @devon_greggory, Execs, Writer and Director all loved it and gave the green light 🚦for Garret to wear not only the full face paint but the boonie hat too come time to film.

Slide 4. Tim Moore (@makeupmagician31) our great make up artist saw the vision and went to town using his artistry to make it next level.
Slide 5 Is the finished product.
Slide 6, 7, 8- is Day one of filming with My Game Gang. Who really took it home playing off of Garrets Intensity, setting up the jokes or slamming them home amazingly.
And finally our amazing Director @kelp1031 who really helped me bring my idea and fit it into her vision, guide me through the ep and yet have room to play!!
