Two weeks before I lost my arm, I remember praying with my mom for my life to have purpose. I wanted my life to honor God.
Since then, God brought me on a journey of learning to push through some of the hardest challenges and accomplish some crazy fun things! He used this wild and devastating experience to give me a neat platform to share my story and be a reminder that we all can overcome.
I really cherish being an encouragement to so many people, but especially for teenage girls in particular because I remember how hard it was for me – and that was before technology and social media has blown up in the way that it has! When times became rough, and especially when I lost my arm, I was able to lean on my mom who encouraged me to trust in the Lord.
It is this incredible relationship with my mom and my hope to equip the younger generation with skills to make positive life choices that inspired my @ohanaexperiences Mother Daughter 90-day mentorship program. I believe that one of God’s greatest gifts to us is our mom as a mentor in our lives. My hope is that when the daughters are going through something hard, they can openly trust their mom and confide in them.
The ’Ohana Program is an opportunity to be personally mentored by me and to learn from incredible experts on essential topics geared towards strengthening girls, moms, and the mother-daughter bond. You also make sweet friendships with other moms and girls, grow in your faith, spend 4 days with me in Hawaii, and have a TON of fun!
I would love to join more mothers and daughters out there in strengthening their relationship and life overall. There’s just a few spots left in my January to Spring program and this is the ONLY ‘Ohana program my team will be doing in 2023. My dad still helping me with putting handles on my surfboards… Thanks dad!!! 🤗
I used my handle to duck dive about 30-50% of the time and I mainly used it when it’s really turbulent underwater to prevent me getting hit in the face with my board. I’m really adaptive with duck diving in a few different ways! 😄🏄🏼♀️🤙🏽

Quick thoughts on parenthood! I was having a conversation with a friend the other day who said they had developed some habits of watching a lot of TV and playing too much video games during the last few years… I think a lot are in the same boat.
I just wanted to say that If you feel like things went in a direction you didn’t want them to go, you can change things! You can get back to nature and have a lot of fun with your children! Children need nature, connection and guidance! Get clever and start the shift back to the life you want for your family💛🌊☀️
Christmas is right around the corner, and my new children’s book “Surfing Past Fear” makes a super rad gift! I may be a bit biased 🙃😉 Along with being a story that inspires children to overcome fears, my book also comes with a map, stickers, and fun games and activities for the whole family to enjoy!
