I always love when people ask me about my diabetes. What’s that on your arm? What is that machine for? Did that hurt? Did you eat too much sugar when you were a baby? What in the world is THAT? It’s November – Happy National Diabetes Awareness month from a real-life type 1 diabetic.
Spending extra time this month showing gratitude. Gratitude for my doctors (Dr. Kaufmann you are a real-life superhero), my CGM, my Afrezza, my diabetic friends who have become family, my family and friends who have supported me endlessly.
