Debbie Matenopoulos Instagram – As promised just a few of the highlights from our boat trip across the entire island of Rhodes. We rented a boat and went from one end of the island to the other stopping at the most beautiful and interesting beaches and in Lindos the farthest end of the island to visit the ancient Acropolis of Rhodes and the Temple of Athena which was built in the 9th century and is the second most intact Ancient Greek ruin in Greece (the Acropolis and Parthenon in Athens being the 1st). We stopped at Tsambika Bay, Anthony Quinn Beach (they named a beach after him and gave him beach front property in the most beautiful bay after the success of “Zorba The Greek”), Kalithea Beach, Faliraki, Red Sands (where we fed wild goats on the beach), Lindos beach and a few more little bats off the beaten path. Alexandra even drove the boat for part of it 🤪. These videos don’t come close to how beautiful these beaches and how crystal blue and green these waters are. It was truly spectacular. If you ever get a chance to visit Greece, I highly recommend you make a trip to Rhodes. What an incredible island full of so much rich history. 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷 | Posted on 13/Sep/2022 21:03:06
