Elizabeth Frances Instagram – There were so many to pick from, but I landed here. My very first backpacking trip ever up to clouds rest. It was 9931 ft of elevation and worth every single step. There weren’t any other humans up there and it was so peaceful. The stars were bright, half dome was in the distance, and the clouds were below.
These are the kinds of views that humble me, make me feel so grateful for this beautiful planet we live in, for the silence and the moments in between. That make me thankful that I have an able body that can take me there, and the breath that enters my lungs.
Our planet is full of miracles. And nature reminds us. Life is a miracle, it’s hard and joyous and full of love and loss and love again, friendships and family and faith in each other. Wishing you a fresh breath and beautiful views that make you feel alive this next year 💕
