Someone noticed the other day that am usually first to volunteer for Noah’s school events.
Our Mom worked 4 jobs to keep us in private school growing up so an event or cupcake sale at school meant that either she wasn’t going to sleep between shifts or we would be short on gas or groceries if she had to buy them from the store.
She always came through no matter what… but it cost her more than she ever let on.
So… I cried a little after I dropped them off at school because such an easy thing for me was such a sacrifice for her. And because I can’t say thank you to her… I volunteer and try to show up where and when I can💖
