..In some folklore they are a symbol of connection to nature.
Humble and grounded creatures as they live with their bodies touching the earth, they are also a symbol of new beginnings, shedding the old skin to reveal a new. Mostly they are misunderstood and unfairly portrayed to be the villain in so many stories…I haven’t met a bad one yet! 😉
