Lizzo is an absolute Queen and powerful agent for progress and positive change. Lizzo used her power and platform to lift up issues affecting women and marginalized communities; gun violence, abortion rights, affordable childcare and paid leave, women’s rights, the plight of Indigenous peoples, combating islamophobia anti-semitism, gender violence, hate crimes, empowering the Asian American and the Pacific Islander community, access to safe drinking water, the unhoused community, transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming youth and people, African American communities, indigenous people of Mexico and Central America, Native peoples, police violence and brutality, and bringing attention to the Iranian women and people’s fight for freedom and democracy.
