And it just so happens that Melvin Van Peebles’ film, “Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song” is one of Bill’s favorite films.
Mario Van Peebles is best known for directing and starring in New Jack City in 1991, Posse in 1993 and USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage in 2016.
