Ed Weeks Instagram – As we hurtle towards the 10 year anniversary of The Mindy Project what is there to write that hasn’t already been written? Let’s do it in slides.
1. Young bucks in between takes, my script in hand. In the early days I was always paranoid I didn’t know my lines, and that I always needed a wee. Both would hugely frustrate @ikebarinholtz.
2. Ike’s revenge.
3. Season 2 fatsuit. You had to step into it (you didn’t, I did) through a posterior zip rather like a onesie. My trailer buddy Chris Messina was often called on for emergency unzips when I had drunk too much coffee.
4. Our queen, our benefactor, our creative genius, our cheerleader. And @mindykaling. Hahaha I did a comedy joke!
5. Rehearsing for the wedding dance in the finale. Choreographed brilliantly by @alison_faulk. I was so good at dancing that I was invited to extra rehearsals, just me, so my fantastic dancing could be further admired and studied. That was definitely why.
6. Over the seasons our family blossomed. The addition as series regulars of @bethgrantactor @xoshroq @adam.pally @fortunefeimster @rebeccarittenhouse and @garretdillahunt added exponential light and gloriousness. I was the luckiest pup to work alongside this cast, these writers, this crew—and 85% of them still return my calls.
