Jeff Beck forever. What an absolutely brilliant musician who carved out a world all his own. Melodic, funky, lyrical, flexible, liquid inventive playing, a river of guitar that never got old and never will. Huge influence on a zillion guitarists and a deep part of who I am as a bassist. I love his solo records with a passion, an unending admiration, like I love the sun or the giant redwoods. We will listen to you always Jeff. Thank you for your gifts. What a rocker. Fly on, cosmic travels to you brother. This is the end of an era.
I am over the top elated like when I got my first bicycle for Christmas when I was 6 years old. I saw it and shook with excitement, fighting back tears, went to bed every night for weeks, excited to get up in the morning and run to it, to ride it down the street like the king of the world. @luckmc made me this magical motorcycle. He is a master craftsman, and I was so grateful to meet him, his glowing wife Kikko, and his helper Sui. He delivered me this motorcycle upon which I will ride for til the end of my days. Man, one of my favorites, I listened to him on that first Specials record a million times and got my heart touched everyone of them. He came up from a rough childhood and stepped up the plate to hit a grand fukken slam. Bless his heart, rest in peace and love Terry Hall

Eyvin Hernandez grew up in South Los Angeles. He attended UCLA where he got a degree in physics and math, then after he graduated law school he became a great public defender and a mentor to many. Less than a year ago he was on vacation in Columbia, and when escorting a friend to the Venezuelan border, a country he had no intention of entering, he was kidnapped by a paramilitary group and taken to Venezuela where he was thrown in jail and accused of being a spy. He is languishing in prison there for nine months now, and suffering deeply. He is an innocent man being used as a political pawn. Hoping some awareness can help his cause. Hoping our government can do what it takes to free him. Hoping.
