Hector “Ektor” Silva Instagram – In complete disbelief. 😢 I first met Stephen “Twitch” Boss working on the film ‘Step Up: Revolution’ in Miami when I was still living there back in 2011. He was a dancer I already admired, so I couldn’t believe I was dancing with THE Twitch in this major movie. 🙏🏽 I remember I wanted to move to LA, it was my dream, but I was insecure about it. One night out in Miami Beach, after filming, we were talking about me moving to LA, and with his inspiring carisma gave me the words of encouragement I needed to take the next step. When we were finally done with the film, I packed all of my stuff in my car and drove to LA. Fast forward a few months after that, I get a call to perform with the cast of Step U 4 at So You Think You Can Dance where I first saw him dance. When he saw me in rehearsal came up and said “You see!” gave me a hug and went on to tell me how happy he was that I made the move and that we were now sharing the stage together.1
He touched and inspired so many lives! He was one special guy. 💔 My energy, heart & love goes out to his beautiful family! 🙏🏽
