Jake Austin Walker Instagram – “I’m not sure If I have a direct process that applies to every role or project. Every character, I’m lucky to play, requires a different approach. I felt as if I knew Liam from the first audition. So with that said, he was a much easier character to bring to life. A very exciting aspect of Liam’s character, which I’ve never been able to implicate in any other character I’ve played, is his budding music career.” 2 in 1 day? I know. I know. Jake Austin Walker Instagram – “It’s hard to watch myself. I cringe the first few times, but then it gets better [laughs]. I think it’s good to do it though, it’s important to stay the student, not the teacher. It’s funny being the love interest in National Treasure though, being that guy. It’s hard to see yourself as that especially when I know how much of a dork I am. I always remember what Tom Hanks once said in a Hollywood Reporter roundtable which was along the lines of, ‘You’re feeling good right now, this shall pass. You’re feeling bad, this too shall pass’.
