Josh Brolin Instagram – I’ve been a parent my whole adult life, and there is nothing more important what has happened in my life than by being blessed with Trevor, Eden, Westlyn and Chapel. I was 19 when I started and 35 years later I continue to live in my own personal heaven, and that heaven consists of what gesture and work of art and scene and imagination manifest is going to come next. Heaven on earth. I love you, my little shits, like nobody’s business. You are my daily Christmas present. I love you forever. I like you for always. Forever and ever my babies you’ll be. Josh Brolin Instagram – I commend Jonah Hill so much for making a film about the great (and so human) Dr. Phil Stutz. I’ve dabbled and immersed in different types of therapies during major desperate moments in my life and I can confidently say that most of it was utter bullshit. It was either lack of talent or insight or compassion or a simple lack of real interest in bettering the human experience. I don’t know. But at the urging of a good friend of mine I saw Phil and only a handful of times and without trying to I still think about the intimate volley we had during those ‘sessions’. I still to this day use those tools and because of using those tools my perspective and my relationship my how I dealt with myself and others in this life shifted and continues to.
See this film if only to experience what it looks like when people actually care, as opposed to posturing through this life to make a few bucks off someone else’s confusions. ⚡️
…and the film itself, by the way, is fucking genius: raw, beautifully and hilariously insightful in its design in how it reveals how ridiculous we are and how much we need each others support to get through it without losing our minds in each other’s dishonesty. 🤘Get the book “The Tools”
