Today is my first day of school! I’ll be taking courses online at Berklee College of Music for the next year or so and I’m really looking forward to seeing where this journey back to music takes me. I used to sing and write and tinker on the piano all the time. Would use the Butler School of Music’s piano practice rooms after hours, trying to learn to play different songs from The Mommas and the Poppas or Regina Spektor and writing my own songs. It’s really been so fulfilling to be writing and creating again. It’s nerve-racking, the thought of releasing music publicly, as it took so long to get to this point of confidence in myself.
