Kowsar Khoshnoodi Kia, a member of Iran’s Women’s National Archery Team who has won medals in national and international competitions. She recently appeared in a video, explaining how she had lost sight in one eye when security forces fired at her.
Since the eruption of the uprising on 16 September 2022, according to human rights organizations Iran’s security forces have killed more than 500 protesters and injured 1000s in a bid to crush the protests.
