As I’ve gotten older, I take the time to embrace more of the moments on this journey called life-take more time to enjoy them, appreciate them, & soak them all in.
One moment I’ve had over & over again, is the realization of how special a sister bond can be & grow. And how sometimes, we will find the most love & support from the “little ones” we once took care of, that we didn’t think or imagine would one day be one of the main ones taking care of us. 🥺
I used to change @theonlycassandraa diapers. And now, she’s one of my best friends that I go to for advice or to vent. I know she always has my back & she’s part of my vital support system.
I love the sisterhood we have & how much it has developed & matured over these last few years. Makes me realize she’s not that little toddler running around anymore 🥺 she’s a grown WOMAN. A RESILIENT one who stands her ground, takes no BS, & always shows up for the ones she loves in such a selfless way.
In case I don’t tell you enough, I’ll remind you here @theonlycassandraa I love you SO much! And I’m so proud of the woman you are growing into. I can’t wait to see what this new year will bring & can’t wait to see all that you do while I sit on the sidelines & cheer you on. Happy happy birthday hermanita! TQM!!!
