In all seriousness though, for many this holiday is one of gratitude and families coming together, for others I know this is a tender day as we honor my indigenous brothers and sisters (and non binary) whose land and home was taken from them. Whatever you call this day, it is so important that we honor this land and our history and give thanks and appreciation for it and the people of it.
Although it’s origins may be murky, I appreciate what it has come to mean. A day to remind us to be thankful and grateful for all that we have, and the coming together of loved ones.
With respect for the past and gratitude for our future, I’m grateful for all of you, for the opportunity to live and breathe each day, for my loved ones, and to get to live a life of passion and purpose, and much, much more. Thank you all for being with me on this journey. I’d love to hear from you! What are you grateful for? ❤️
