Iāve learned a lifetime of things this past year, not the least of which is that grief changes everything, and in that upheaval, it has the power to sink you or strengthen you. But itās you who decides which of those it does. For me, and with Brian, it has done the latter. I feel invincible these days. I feel calm, I feel focused, I feel determined. That I got to spend so much time on this earth with my soulmate is a blessing that urges me onward. I was the luckiest, and I remain so.
If you are grieving, I hope all the same for you. That the memories you shared be the fuel you need to thrive every day until at last you are reunited with your person again.
