Melissa Rauch Instagram – #FBF Right before the school photographer snapped this pic he said, “Your bow is crooked.” I didn’t register what he meant and thought it was another way of saying: “Say cheese!” The look on my face is me trying to figure out how to respond. (Do I repeat back, “Your bow is crooked?!” Or do I say “MY bow is crooked?! Why can’t I just say “cheese?!”) He took a half a second more to try to explain it to me, but got fed up with my confusion and took the picture. As I was walking away he said, “Tell your mommy I tried to fix it.” I was panicked and further confused. He knew my mommy!? It wasn’t until we got the pictures back and saw the crooked bow that I understood what he had said. I was so upset with myself that I came home crying, devastated that I didn’t fix my bow before the picture. My mother told me that she loved it. “The crooked bow made it special,” she said. “You will look back on this picture one day and love it too.” She was right. May all your bows be crooked. 🎀
