Morena Baccarin Instagram – This #GivingTuesday, I want to share a little story. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I traveled to Colombia to meet with mothers who had fled political instability and economic crisis in Venezuela. Escaping the political upheaval was one mother of two children. She had left behind a career as a schoolteacher and suddenly found herself unable to feed her family – not even a single meal per day – for the very first time. Through her tears, she told me about her hopes – she wants only the possibility to provide for her family and give back to the society that took them in. Her wish was for her children, and those she used to teach, to have a *future*. I know I share that same wish for my children. This is one of the reasons why I’m so proud to support @RESCUEorg’s work — and why, this Giving Tuesday, I’d love for you to join me. Their work could not be more vital right now. The conflict in Ukraine, floods in Pakistan, and other crises have pushed millions from their homes. And shortages of grains and too little rain are leaving tens of millions of people in East Africa and other areas without enough to eat. Please join me in helping give millions of people around the world the chance at a future again. If you donate today, your gift will be matched. Link in my bio. ❤ | Posted on 30/Nov/2022 02:55:13
