The last scene with @tiannatiara was lots of fun to let loose! The apple cider vinegar was actually apple juice and it was supposed to be with a spoon first but my hands were too shaky and I kept spilling so we used a cup instead. It was lots of screaming over and over and after we wrapped in post I had to do ADR (additional dialogue recording) where I had to match my voice to the scene or certain lines for clarity etc. and the scream was one of them! Lots of tea with honey for those days!

Nikki Roumel Instagram – A little ‘Behind the Episode’ facts about a few of my scenes from episode 1-3! The Blood Eyes reunion was very cold! It was -12 and our lovely costume team gave us warm up jackets in between takes, also a toe, foot, hand and stomach warmers for underneath costumes! Our talented Block 1 director and friend @jamesgenn directed it beautifully along with the rest of the team, who stood in the cold during the shot and during set up! We were trying to not shiver too haha! The “hey there big fat guy” line to Marty that was also in the pilot was actually one of the lines in my audition scenes too back in 2019! Episode three was filmed in a little boutique and I made three amazing new friends! The boutique was also filled with little self love messages which was very heartwarming! It was also pretty squishy considering we had a lot of team members inside! Nothing beats Fry-yay! Fun fact their was another pre-fried Twinkie I swapped out after dropping the one caked in batter! It was a quick little routine! We filmed it in a later block, despite it being in the first episode! We also ran into some neighbourhood locals who gave us warm welcomes! Lastly, the flashback Livingroom Dance Party was the first time I got to meet Camilla in person (the zoom chemistry read being the first!) and Leo! They played music and we got to bang pots and pans which resulted in two broken wooden spoons that the amazing prop department replaces. It was a lot of dancing and playing games in between takes to lighten the heavy undertone of the scene!
