Toomaj Salehi is a beloved Iranian rapper and activist who was arrested yesterday by government forces. He has always been very critical of the regime, with lyrics openly condemning state repression and injustice. He’s been very active during this time, not only bravely using his platform to help the Iranian people but also fighting in the streets alongside protestors.
His uncle has confirmed that he is now being subjected to torture and held in horrible conditions.
