Polina Pushkareva Instagram – Fashion week: what to know before attending the show? ⠀ A list of hacks I always do that help me to survive Fashion week week and meet everyone 💅🏻 ⠀ 1. Always arrive 30 minutes before the show starts. You’ll have time to pose for street photographers, then for photographers inside ⠀ 2. The more well known/well dressed you are, the more press you get ⠀ 3. Try to get a sit close to the runway. The closer to the runway the more important connections you can make. Just kindly ask a designer who invites you to sit you in a front row ⠀ 4. Always ask for a +1 ticket for your friend who can help you to record you for socials or your assistant ⠀ 5. Show lasts 30-40 min. DON’T leave after the show. It is a time to get to backstage and meet a designer ⠀ 6. Always send a message to people you’ve met at the show on socials and keep in touch with them. It can be something like “loved meeting you tonight. Your fit was perfect” ⠀ And have fun. Dance to music, record TikToks, wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident, smile and be out there ⠀ Fashion week shouldn’t be all about pressure. It can be fun as well❤️ NYFW
