Sacha Parkinson Instagram – My Nana Olga passed away last night. Im absolutely heartbroken and I already miss her like crazy. With 4 kids, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, she was the Queen of our family and an almighty force to be reckoned with.
Her presence lit up each and every room she entered and there isnāt a single person who crossed her path without falling completely in love with – and having total admiration for – the woman she was.
About 4 years ago when she was 3 brandy and Canada drys deep, I took full advantage and filmed her making her famous hot toddy (She wouldnāt have let me otherwise. Recording Nan was very much on her terms but brandy always turned her into a performer).
Iām so glad I took my camera that day. This little film wonāt mean much to you lot but it screams everything Nana Olga to me and I want to share a small piece of her with the world.
Queen Ol reminded us that life is for living.. for all 95 years of hers. Iāll miss you Nan š
