Teryl Rothery Instagram – Every Sunday I read Maria Shriver’s “Sunday Paper”. The other week she was talking about the power of ‘words’. The words we choose can hurt or heal. It reminded me of a session I taught on how we speak to ourselves.

Why is it so hard for us to use words of love, compassion and kindness to ourselves?

I woke up this morning and looked at myself in the mirror and the first thing that came to mind was “how thin my hair is!!”😳

It’s a habit. And a bad one, because eventually we believe all the bad press we give to ourselves.

We have the choice to “use our words to heal or to hurt”. Not just with others, but with ourselves.
