Alexander Rendell Instagram – คุณพ่อคุณแม่มักจะถามพวกเราเสมอว่า “อายุน้อยที่สุดที่เข้าค่าย @eecthailand คือเท่าไร?” เพราะปกติเราร่วมกิจกรรมกับนักเรียนหลายๆอายุ จึงเป็นโจทย์ให้เราว่า “จะทำอย่างไรเพื่อชวนเด็กน้อยให้รู้จักกับธรรมชาติด้วยวิธีที่สนุกและตื่นเต้น” (บวกให้มีเวลาพักงีบระหว่างนั้นด้วย 😄🍼)

Nursery in Nature: Under the Tree เด็กน้อยแห่งพงไพร: ใต้ร่มไม้ ค่ายที่สองของ EEC ที่จัดพื้นที่พิเศษผ่านกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมและการสำรวจสำหรับเด็กเล็กโดยเฉพาะ เราลดจำนวนผู้เข้าร่วมค่ายให้น้อย เพื่อให้เด็ก ๆ ทุกคนรู้สึกสบาย ใช้เวลาเต็มที่ และมีความสุขผ่านการผจญภัยไปด้วยกัน รวมถึงการเก็บประสบการณ์ที่ศูนย์ช่วยเหลือสัตว์ป่าและการเดินศึกษาธรรมชาติในตอนกลางคืน เมื่อมองย้อนกลับไป พวกเรารู้สึกภาคภูมิใจที่ได้เห็นก้าวแรกของนักสิ่งแวดล้อมตัวเล็ก ๆ ที่ได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับความยั่งยืนในครั้งนี้ 🐅🌳😍

Parents often ask what is the youngest age for children to join EEC camps. Usually the activities are for older students but it got us thinking about what we could do to introduce little kids to nature in a fun and exciting way (with a lot of nap time in between) 😄🍼

Nursery in Nature: Under the Tree was EEC’s second ever camp for nurseries with activities aimed at encouraging engagement and exploration. We kept camp participants small in numbers to avoid overwhelming the kids, went on adventures together including a night trek and even spent half a day at the Wildlife Quarantine Centre. Reflecting back, it gives us so much pride to have seen tiny ones taking first steps in learning about sustainability 🐅🌳😍
