Thank you so much for this video tribute in your personal IG and I know especially You, growing up up so close to the same neighborhood where I was born, have perhaps felt this, more than many. The three moments you chose I am still connected to. I think many men are. Aside from the fact they are ‘characters’ I have loved to play the most, they share a common and profoundly dangerous war inside of them, being played out today right now in the world more than ever. All of these characters are tormented by ‘tribal law’ which they are rooted in. In trying to adapt to a so called ‘moral society’ it is also an egregiously ‘Affluent’ one, which originally, they were never part of. One of Arthur Miller’s most moving lines, in his play “View From the Bridge” sums it up. ‘I confess that something perversely pure calls to me from his memory
—not purely good, but himself purely, for he allowed himself to be
wholly known and for that I think I will him love him more than all my
sensible clients. And yet, it is better to settle for half, it must be!
And so I mourn him, I admit it, with a certain alarm.’
Thank You Mikey, xArmand 🙏🏼❤️

#Repost: @mikeyrod_fightscience There are those who act… and then there are REAL actors! Such a great body of work from @armandassante.official 🎬 This is just a very small portion [3] of the roles he’s played. From East Harlem’s Bobby Tex… to a Mambo King playing drums with Tito Puente… and also playing the Teflon Don John Gotti alongside Movie Legend Anthony Quinn. Respect for the man and his ability to bring these characters to life. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
