Bernie Sanders Instagram – Here is the economic reality for millions of senior citizens in this country at this moment. Half of older Americans have no retirement savings to speak of. They have no idea how, or even if, they will ever be able to retire after a lifetime of work. Over half of our senior citizens are already struggling to survive on just $25,000 a year. Got that? 480 bucks a week! And what is the Republican Party’s bright idea given that reality? They want to CUT Social Security benefits for our seniors. We must fight back and work to expand, not cut, Social Security benefits in this country.
