Hug a tree. Protect & restore our planet, wildlife & its resources. Plant seeds. Reduce. Reuse. Vote. Change is coming. Change is happening. It’s okay not to be okay. Focus on what’s in your control. Ask for help. Don’t lose hope. Keep the faith. The world is whatever you want it to be, the possibilities are endless. This too shall pass. Chase your dreams. Trust your gut. Follow your heart. Here is what happened when @toriwest @kaynekawasaki @monikayoung_ and I got together for @lenovo_uki #ThinkOutLoud as their Change-makers. We put the world to right, discussing equality to accessibility to sustainability to what the future holds, just to name a few. In particular, I spoke about how tech is aiding sustainable practices worldwide and is crucial in helping fix the climate problems and a whole host of other issues we face today. I really enjoyed hearing & learning from these fine folk who brought such a variety of insight and knowledge to these topics from their different areas of expertise & background. It made for a fascinating, thought-provoking conversation that will stay with me and I’ll try to bring to my own work. I hope you find it interesting and maybe learn something along the way. Here we talked about the importance of community and collaboration. Now more than ever I feel we need to come together to listen, learn, help one another and grow. In a world where we seem to grow more and more distant the need to come together has never been more important. Let me know what you think and any thoughts you have. #ThinkOutLoud Part 2: Myself, @toriwest @kaynekawasaki @monikayoung_ came together for @lenovo_uki uki #ThinkOutLoud campaign where we were kindly chosen as their 4 Changemakers. We sat together for long, winding conversations about everything & anything. Here we spoke about ‘Change & Technology’ – how can tech help bring about change? For me, technology is one of our greatest allies in the fight against the Climate Crisis. Yes, we need a major focus on nature-based solutions but technology-based solutions can, and already have, played a massive role in helping to. Not to mention it’s been instrumental in helping ring the alarm, grow the movement and bring people together, working towards the same thing. I want to say a massive thank you to #LenovoUK firstly for choosing me as one of their Changemakers. Secondly, for bringing us all together and creating the space for these interesting, thoughtful, energising conversations. Really enjoyed meeting everyone and learning from them too. There’s nothing quite like coming together for a good ol’ chat and think✌🏼 #LenovoUK #AD
