To hear from a man what it means to be an ‘aan’ (Man in Tamil), what different rules society doles out for women, from the dupatta-pottuko advice to the power of a woman to keep her Susu in while a man just can’t hold it; to how a girl’s puberty is announced to the world in many parts of India.. where all old uncles and aunts of the world are invited but not the poor ‘young boys’ who the girls grew up with, who then have to figure out everything, because the girls don’t tell them anything, ‘because they won’t get it’:)).
Being an Indian Male, that can’t be seen as a loser (isn’t that a woman who ‘loses’ her virginity), that is made a big deal of even if he makes a mediocre ‘sumaar sambhar’, that is the setter of rules since man-kind was born..
