Murphy Instagram – A View from the Bridge…this play by Arthur Miller was my first acting gig…my first line “Immigration,open up in there”…I played an immigration officer and I was so nervous .It was at The Focus Theatre in Dublin under Deirdre O’Connell.Ger Carey played Eddie Carbone to rave reviews.Deirdre dressed in black and had flaming red hair.She was a member of The Actors Studio in NYC.She set up The Focus Theatre in Dublin.It was like a mini Actors Studio.she married Luke Kelly from The Dubliners and only wore black after he died.We would go there to learn acting and then go down to the bar for a few pints.I later became a lifetime member of The Actor’s Studio here and here I am shooting in New York.The Immigrant.☘️☘️☘️🥃🥃🥃 #actorsstudio #arthurmiller #aviewfromthebridge #focustheatre #deirdreoconnell #dumbo
