Swam in glacial waters, jumped off bridges, mountaineered via Ferrata style, had a endless ‘beauty emergencies’ where it was pertinent to stop whatever I was doing to take in the beautiful scenery, sailed through the same fiords explorers in the 1600’s did when they discovered NZ and first encountered Māori tribes, watched all the @taikawaititi movies, and made an amazing friend along the way in Kyla.

At the end of every year I reflect about the prior year and make goals for the year to come. This year represents ‘Open Doors’ for me. Nothing forced. Embrace the paths of least resistance. The beginning of 2023 is the perfect example.
On a hike in LA with my friend @coachadamcobb I mentioned I wanted to visit NZ and Australia and his eyes lit up. He immediately connected me to his best mate Kyla. Kyla was pumped to adventure around and created the perfect itinerary for us. The door swung wide open. Thanks Adam for being a great listener and connecting me to Kyla and Kyla thanks for loving morning coffee, swimming in all bodies of water at any time, adventuring, and saying hell yes to life.
