Aanchal Munjal Instagram – Everyday I get asked by people what am I doing next or why wasn’t I part of any roundtables or why haven’t I been nominated for my work. For all those interested, here’s the truth – 1. I haven’t been asked to audition for any role in a series or a movie in the last 6 months apart from 2 at the max. When I made calls to check, I have been told that no work is happening right now. And nominations obv is not in my hands. 2. I have given my 12 years to this industry and through sheer hardwork, I have done 400 tv ads (pan India and some for foreign countries), I have acted in a Punjabi movie, Tamil movie & a Sri Lankan movie which won several awards internationally. I did sign few movies in between but due to ethical reasons, I decided to leave those ones. In the web series world, I did Undekhi. But with Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein which released this year 2022, the actual validation came through. A project I will be ever so grateful for giving me immense love & recognition. 3. Last point, the truth is bitter. Despite all of this, I am sitting at home. I don’t have work. It upsets me & is quite depressing. But it is what it is!! It’s the year end, I have come to my family & enjoying the real love here. I shall continue to still believe in what I love the most & that is the reason I decide each time to stick by and be patient. I love acting- the process of it & I understand just that. I wish it were just This simple but it’s 99% other things here. I am happy that I Despite all of this, Dream to just do my work & be an Actor of Tabu mam’s or Vidya Balan mam’s caliber.
