When Copernicus and Keppler produced evidence that the Earth revolved around the Sun, it was not just additional information. The viewed world became different, and so did the viewer.
Living systems adapt by transforming themselves. When an organisms path is disrupted, new nets and assemblies occur, loops form and then alternate pathways develop.
True learning is not simply something added, but a physical reorganization of the system.
