Gurbani Judge Instagram – Books! 🥰📚 I’m currently reading: The Matthew Perry book, it’s got a lot to do about addiction and trauma. (tw) Just finished reading: My year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh. An interesting yet very on the verge of addiction and escapism – I was dreading what might be coming next but couldn’t stop reading it. It stayed with me for a bit after, not entirely pleasant. Book Lovers, finished this on my flight Bombay to Uk, 6hrs. Light, fun, romantic. She & her cat: S’sweet. About kept cats, stray cats, their ‘owners’, their adventures and their thoughts.. and ofc the impact of pets in our lives and vice versa 🫶🏻 My 2 absolute FAVOURITE READS (Out of this lot): Cleopatra and Frankenstein. (I am obsessed with Frankenstein, this book has nothing to do with the OG Frank fyi). Is a love story, is cute and smexy and terribly heart breaking.. it’s about addiction to love, people, alcohol, & drugs. It’s pathetic and predictable in parts and you can’t stop reading it. I didn’t want it to end. [It took 7 years for this book to be finished. ] Mr Salary: Another Sally Rooney book, I’ve enjoyed her precious books quite a bit. This was the shortest read and extremely dissatisfying because it’s ends way too soon. Lol. We need the complete story Sally!!! #MustReadBooks What are you currently reading?
