Imogen Heap Instagram – Hello hello!
Soooo…. after over a decade of only being available on DVD, dear filmmaker pal @jusgoat has arranged for her fabulous film, Everything In Between to be made available on @docnrollfilms .
For two years, Justine followed the making of my third solo album from just after me turning 30 years old. Everything In Between, the making of Ellipse, features all the highs, lows, fun, games and some pretty mad outfits along the way (cringe!).
It’s a very unique insight into the process of making of an album (including building the studio!) – I thought it would never get finished! So grateful for Justine to have captured it all. It was very difficult for her too, with hundreds of hours of footage. No-one was making a ‚making of’ and boy did she work hard on it.
I ended up winning my first ever Grammy for that record and I think it was because Justine shared so much of the process as we were going along via the Vblogs on YouTube, which many of you tuned into every week or two to hear the latest. For many, this alerted them that I engineer and produce most of my own work. A Grammy for engineering is pretty badass if I don’t say so myself!
So… maybe you’d like to cosy up with a cuppa as I stress and conjure (and get gradually fitter!) over the Holidays and give it a watch.
