Juliette Motamed Instagram – last month i did a mix for @foundation.fm as a part of the #planetinprogress series in solidarity with the protests that are still happening in Iran right now.
in the snippet in the 2nd slide catch me and @shiririii talking about the meaning of the word AZADI, featuring an intro into my first ever single and video ‘WHO IS’ where i sample a conversation between myself and my grandmother in her apartment in Iran, years before this second revolution, talking about what freedom means to us. looking back on ‘WHO IS’ is so surreal to me now… would our conversation have been different then had we known what we know now? what would we have said to each other? I miss her so much. I hope we can embrace each other soon.
