Yesterday was the most anticipated day of my life. My movie Aanu got screened at the IFFK.I had told in many of my interviews how this movie, Aanu, and our beloved director Sidhartha Shiva had reshaped me as a performer. The making of this movie made me stronger and got me deeper into human emotions. Our workshops, heartfelt conversations about real-life experiences, and working together with a crew that later turned out to be my family felt like a dream for me. I joined the team like a kindergarten student, ready to mug up whatever my director told me. However, the freedom Sidhu Etan gave me made me explore and put out the finest version of Amla Vincent through Aanu. Sajitha Chechi, who was my cheerleader, best co-actor, and our writer, is one of the most beautiful and amazing performers that I came across in my journey in the movies. I was overwhelmed with joy when our movie got Padmarajan Pursakam this year, and I sincerely thank the jury for acknowledging our work.🌼We expected more recognition for the efforts of each of our crew members this year.Keeping the chaos aside😌.However, the amount of love poured by people at the IIFK made me realise that more than any accolades 🥇🏆, the love of the audience matters. It was after so many years that people came to me and poured their hearts out on how much Alma Vincent and Sudharma haunted them as well as made them smile. Thank you, IFFK, for screening our movie and helping our movie reach more people. Thank you Rakesh etta for supporting us throughout this journey and for being an understanding Producer.Thank you Manjari Chechi, Mallika Chechi, our DOP Vishu Chettan, Phantom Praveen, my dearest Sajitha Chechi and the entire cast and crew for making Aanu a memorable experience.Thank you, Achan and Amma, for everything. ♥️
