Namrata Shirodkar Instagram – SHELF LIFE, Dia Mehhta Bhupal’s third solo exhibition with @galleryske. @diabhupal explores the world of books and is inspired by the limitless possibilities of the written word through Shelf Life.This new body of work presents a series of still-life images, based on books and the shelves they occupy. The artist continues her process of collecting previously printed magazines, meticulously segregating them into colour fields and spinning tubes to make three dimensional objects. These are then arranged to make the image. The ideas of recycling materials continues to be a preoccupation for Bhupal’s practise.
