Samyuktha Hegde Instagram – Progress over perfection
After tearing my ACL and not exercising for over 6 months, I have really missed being at the gym
My self esteem has been on an all time low since my surgery and to add to that most people I meet tell me how SKINNY I’ve become (it feels really bad, that fat people don’t like being called fat though but skinny people have no feelings)

I started training on the 6th feb and just two weeks of consistent training has boosted my self confidence, improved my food and water intake, stopped craving late night junk and also bettered my sleep cycles.

Body positivity should speak more about bettering health and muscle strength instead of telling people it’s okay to be the way you are cause ITS NOT.
Being fat and being thin both are unhealthy in their own ways but that’s okay cause you can start today and change that fact about yourself.
Love yourself, treat yourself well, be kind to yourself and others but don’t forget the one thing you life with your whole life is your body, so take good care of it!
