In a deep field of beautiful, authentic and impact shows, @911lonestar won Outstanding Drama Series at last night’s @glaad Media Awards.
I’m incredibly grateful to GLAAD not only for the recognition of our show, but for the work they do to ensure the representation of LGBTQ people in media is fair, authentic and inclusive.
I’m also deeply proud of everyone in the Lone Star fam, who’ve been committed to telling inclusive stories from day one. Thank you to the OG godfather @ryanmurphyproductions Our leader, Tim Minear and the entire creative crew- Rashad Raisani, Brad Buecker, John Gray, Wolfe and Carly who joined us last night. All of our writers for creating dynamic characters and and storylines that entertain and challenge us. To the production crew that puts in the hours that make the magic happen everyday. And of course to my incomparable cast mates for bringing so much their own truth, life and light to their characters and using their voices and platforms to further advocate for equality for our communities.
