Elton John Instagram – On a perfect Spring evening in 2007, looking out at a 300,000 strong crowd, I made a promise to the people of Ukraine that I would do everything I could to help end their AIDS crisis. One year on from Russia launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, @DavidFurnish and I are heartbroken to see the devastation continue to destroy lives. In addition to the huge loss of life and disruption, Ukraine’s impressive advances in ending its HIV epidemic have been put at risk. That’s why today, I am pleased to announce new funding has been given through @ejaf for the country to ensure progress is not lost, and to support continued efforts to deliver vital services to people living or at risk of HIV.
